Whether you're interested in a traditional in-ground plot, a beautiful cremation garden, or an above-ground entombment in a mausoleum, Oak Lawn will work to find the right solution for your family. For those that desire multi-generation memorial sites, we provide estate lots and private mausoleums.

Traditional Burials
Single Graves
Our meticulously-landscaped grounds are just one of the many reasons people choose Oak Lawn. You can also memorialize your burial plot with one of our monument options.
Family Lots
With family options available up to three-grave lots, we can customize a plan personally for you. We’re here to help in all aspects of the process, including pre-planning arrangements.
Estate Lots
For families that desire a monumental memorial site, we offer estate lots. These lots have multiple graves for either full burials or cremations and can be personally landscaped.
The Knoll
The Knoll at Oak Lawn, opened in 2019, is truly a one-of-a-kind cremation garden offering multiple above and below ground options for cremation interments and inurnments. Native plants and trees embrace this very special site with multiple burial options:
In-Ground
Traditional in-ground cremation sites, with both flush and upright markers, define the perimeter of The Knoll. Embracing the walkways are granite-topped stone walls. Imbedded in the walls are evenly spaced granite plaques marking in-ground interment sites.
Granite Niches
The interior of the development contains a lower Courtyard with above-ground granite niches for both single and double inurnments.
Columbarium
Along the way, a lovely Terrace includes a free-standing columbarium offering both single and companion niches. Arriving at the Summit, there are additional companion niches and stone walls with in-ground, granite-faced interment sites. The Summit offers commanding views of our grounds including our newly developed native park and 9/11 Memorial.
Cremation Gardens
Throughout our grounds, we have many cremation gardens — designated areas that are reserved solely for the burial of urns. These areas are carefully landscaped and maintained, and provide another unique way to remember family and friends at Oak Lawn.
Community Mausoleum
Oak Lawn's Community Mausoleum provides above-ground burials with a magnificent, state-of-the-art mausoleum facility in a tranquil, wooded section of our arboretum. If your family is considering an above-ground burial, you'll find unique crypt spaces and niches here.
The Community Mausoleum is constructed with some of the finest marble from Spain and granite from Sardinia. No matter the weather or time of year, you can pay your respects in total comfort. Our outdoor crypts and niches are nestled within a tranquil environment of greenery. A beautiful copper oak tree water fountain is the highlight of the rear courtyard.

Private Family Mausoleums
Family Mausoleums are designed to accommodate the remains of multiple family members. The indoor areas are secured, so you can pay your respects in total comfort regardless of the weather or time of year. People choose Private Family Mausoleums for a variety of reasons, but the most common reasons include privacy and the ability to personalize the resting place of their loved ones.
Oak Lawn Cemetery & Arboretum has larger lots available in a private setting of the cemetery to accommodate these Mausoleums. The area has a beautiful wooded backdrop with roadside access. Our staff would be happy to assist you in all aspects of design, construction, and placement of your Family Mausoleum.
Monuments & Markers
Unlike many other local cemeteries, Oak Lawn also has the in-house capabilities to create custom, one-of-a-kind monuments and markers to memorialize your loved ones. Whether your family needs a new monument or simply needs to update the inscription of a current one, we can conveniently help out at competitive pricing.
